I've been wanting to come to this location ever since I saw it in someone's feed on WeChat.

I love the 70's feel it had to it and the fact that it reminded me of the China I saw in the old movies. Well, at least the Guangdong (Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Hong Kong) movies.

Though obviously this is all a recreation and not too original, it is cool to see Shenzhen and China allow some of its 60-80's history not be forgotten in favor of newer taller buildings.

A friend also told me this place is almost a direct copy of the Changsha crayfish market.
