The 4 to 6 hour layover that ended up being 16 hours.

Wow airlines had a history of having longer than expected layovers in Iceland. So when we flew from Europe to the US, we had time to rent a car and drive around for a bit.

I found it astonishing that people also spoke Spanish. I also found the prices for things to be too expensive. A hamburger with fries and a soda was $20.

However, the place was truly beautiful. I do wish I get a chance to explore it again.
