I had mixed feelings about Yogyakarta to be honest. Jakarta is an interesting city with a very rich history. However, the state it finds itself in doesn't really appeal to me as a place I would spend long. Instead, Yogyakarta is a city that has a lot more accessible history and it still has the architecture to show for it.

Not only that, but I found it a small village in a large city.
