Rabat is the capital city of Morocco. It is where the king lives and where you see the most developed aspects of the country. To be honest, it doesn't reminded me anything of Fes or Marrakech. 

The people are more western and so is the infracstructure. French is the main spoken language and there is a sense of "superiority" and/or pride if you come from this city due to the fact that is it the most expensive city too.
