Being in education and an avid reader, I've wanted to visit this library since I saw it online. In fact, I was going to travel at some point north (when I lived in Shenzhen) just to see this beautiful library/bookstore. Though located in the city of Tianji, it is actually in the district of Binhai. You get on the No. 9 Metro and go all the way down to Citizen Plaza. From there take a Didi (taxi) to the Binhai Mall. It's on the second floor. Do not pay attention to the signs suggesting it might be in the basement. I spent a good 10 mins figuring that out. As far as the library/bookstore... well, to be honest, this library looks huge in photos because the big ball in the middle makes you take ultra-wide shots to be able to get a sense of fit. They also didn't allow camera, but did allow phones. I put a map on here because there are 3 libraries in town. If it doesn't take you over an hour to get to, it's the incorrect one. That or just follow my directions on here so you don't want your time.
