I've been coming to Wuhan since 2021. Now I'm partially settled here. I've been trying to document the life here 2 years after COVID-19. There have been government lockdowns. People being placed under quarantine and people who have come, but a lot more who have left.

However, for the locals, this holiday was a mere resemblance of what regular life was like.

(Second Photo) I actually had a lovely time. The senior members in these photos are a retired group who like to go swimming and diving. Though at first one of them asked me where I was from... I told him American (in Chinese) and in English he told me "American?.... We are enemies." I told him "No no no, not me! I'm nice." He smiled and invited me to take photos. It was a nice and hot afternoon full of a lot of cool memories.
