Fes is a maze. It reminded me of a more complex Venice. Streets without exits. Going around in circles. However, each street and each deadend is covered in history and insteresting architecture. Overall, a must see place. Plus, you get to see the leather tanneries pools (I forgot their names). 

The food isn't that much different than Marrakesh. However, Fes is defenately not flat. But not too steep.
