Dali's old town is a combination of tourism and local delicacies. It is a mix of rural and village.

Though the old town feels more like a tourist attraction. The design and surrounding villages and area give you more of an idea of how this place used to be.

I was intrigued by the Catholic churches and the followers in the area. Yunnan seems to be an area that is accepting of Catholicism and religious practices and tolerance.

Which is odd because most of the country treats Communism as a religion and the only religion.
